Hedwig And The Angry Inch

What a cool film! Rebecca and I watched it last night and bought the soundtrack today. The film opens with Hedwig and the band, The Angry Inch, performing their song "Tear Me Down" on their tour of Bilgewater seafood restaurants. The structure is a little different but you quickly fall in love with Hedwig and the kick ass music which is a cross between Broadway and Punk Rock. The DVD includes a making of doc that's as long as the movie. It traces Hedwig from John Cameron Mitchell's idea to a collaboration with musician and songwriter Stephen Trask to a drag queen night club to off Broadway to film. Check it out.
