Vloggercon 2005

Vloggercon Website
Hey ya'll, Vloggercon 2005 is happening on January 22 in New York. A bunch of us videobloggers (40 as of this evening) are going to get together to talk about what's been accomplished this year and to look at what's next. I just bought my ticket yesterday and Dylan has been asking me about going. I'd love to take her (it would be the trip of her life) but I can't afford another $400 this month for a plane ticket and stuff (airfare + buses, subways and cabs). So I'm asking for some assistance. If you've got a few bucks you can donate via PayPal that would be fantastic - just click the "make a donation" button. Maybe you've got some frequent flyer miles to give (I don't even know how these work), or PayPal doesn't work for you? Then contact me and we'll figure it out. I'm not trying to make extra money or anything like that so I'll stop accepting donations if and when they reach $400.
Thanks for your consideration,
Michael

[Update: 1/6/05 1PM] I can't tell you how overwhelmed I am by the donations that people have made! Thank you so much! Thanks to Raymond Kristiansen, Ken Snider, Chuck Olsen, Jay Deadman, Joshua Kinberg, Kathryn Bechtold, Thomas Brandt, Zadi Diaz, and Yves Grant. We're almost 3/4 of the way there.

[Update: 1/6/05 6:30PM] Wow! Thanks to my Mom, Joanne Sekula, and April Allridge we have less than $30 to go. This is amazing.

[Update: 1/6/05 8PM] Steve Garfield puts it over the top! Thank you, thank you! You guys are amazing. Over $400 in less than 24 hours. Wow!
