The Peace Initiative

"Peace cannot be achieved through violence,
it can only be attained through understanding."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

In October 2001 I started peaceinitiative.org in response to the constant barrage of war talk. The idea was to simply remind people that there are other ways to address issues. I created some easily downloaded flyers with peace quotes that could be printed out and posted on bulletin boards, bus stops, car windshields, etc.

Since the site no longer exists, I've moved the flyers here. If you other quotes you'd like to see or other suggestions, please email them to me at michael@michaelverdi.com
