Good morning. Well, I didn't have any dreams that I remembered last night. Instead I woke up listening to the news and sadly it's all too true. Once again, I'm ashamed to be American. If you are as frustrated by things as I am, please visit my Peace Initiative website.

On to movies. I watched 24 Hour Party People last night and it was so-so. I was initially intrigued because it was about the formation and death of Factory Records, the label of Joy Division and New Order. From the preview it seemed kind of smart and funny. The reality of the film was that it was kind of boring. I can’t imagine it holding much interest for those who are not familiar with the music. It also wasn’t very funny – only an occasional chuckle.
