Light At The End Of The Tunnel?

We met with the branch manager of the mortgage company this afternoon. At first he started to talk about some loan that was so far off base I was ready to walk out. Then he went to work at his computer, checked on some stuff, and came back with a loan that was better than the one we thought we were getting to begin with. Plus, they put in $1000. Now why couldn't they have done that three weeks ago? At least it seems to be done now. So we should be able to close either Friday, Monday or Tuesday. Cross your fingers.
