Jay, Ryanne and their kitties (!) stopped in town for a few days as they make their way across country to their new home in Virginia. And since Jen is just up the road in Austin for a few more weeks she came over too. We’ve been hanging out for two days working on Show In A Box and updating all kinds of stuff.
I’ve been working on rearranging my videos and websites and here’s what I’ve come up with: This site will be my personal stuff; graymattergravy.com will be a collection of artworks and reportsfromthefuture.com will be my blog about virtual worlds, videoblogging, machinima and the tech behind it all.

Yeah content. I guess what I’m saying is that this is the content for this site - my life. The other stuff that’s more like content content is going other places.
Great idea. I kinda did a similar thing where I split my videos from everyone else’s I was re-blogging. For all of that I use Tumblr now and kept my video blog for just my videos.
I like the content here. Whatever that content may be, that content is you. You’re a pretty decent guy and thus, the content will be likewise
One day I will come down out of the trees and update my website. I’m still on your earlier (and brilliant, I thought) vlogsplosion version 1. The thought of messing with things fills me with dread. But Show in a Box really is the biz, so maybe I’ll just have to bite the bullet.

I am wrestling with the same issues now. When I started vlogging it was all kid/family stuff. As I broaden my horizons there are some explicit ranty crazy posts mixed in with toddler mayhem. Kind of an odd mix for any followers to get into. Glad to see others have similar concerns and to how yuo tackled them. Did you port all old media across to the new sites, or start from scratch?

I love it when the stars of one show that I love turn up in another show that I love. Seeing Jay and Ryanne on MichaelVerdi.com is like seeing David Duchovny as the cross-dressing FBI agent in Twin Peaks.
