Rupert Goes To IHOP

Much of what I shot at Pixelodeon was unusable uninteresting and poorly lit but I did get this bit on Sunday morning when we went to IHOP with Rupert. Some of this video came from Rupert’s version of the same event. The music at the end is from an old radio show called, “Jerry Of The Circus.”

That was great. Never have I imagined a trip to ihop to be such a monumental event!

I love videobloggers. And the look on the ‘normal’ people’s faces watching ya’al go nuts with the layers upon layers of excitement and documentation. HA AH - if only they knew what an incredible group of innovators were sitting next to them and how much your crazy playing is about to change their t.v. watching lives forever…. if only they knew they’d be asking for autographs instead of smirking at you like you are CRAZY!

I wish I’d been there — next time, eh?

Panasonic has a great anti-shake feature that eliminates walking problems. You don’t get a flippy screen, but you can walk around town.

I think i have seen this one event from about four different angles. It’s crazy. Not only does it feel like I was actually there, but that I was there and somehow everywhere at the same time.

i also loved the couple at the next table best. they could not imagine why anyone would be videorecording an ihop menu. and yet to me it made perfect sense.

Great use of alternate views from each camera! Fun times fun times.

That was great. I saw Rupert’s version too, and the contrast was interesting.

I have always wanted a dancing monkey of my own, so I’m wondering if Rupert is for sale, and what that would be in American dollars?

I totally understand Rupert’s IHOP amazement! The choices! The fruits! Steak, waffles, pancakes! It’s pure breakfast heaven!

This was too funny–and I’ve seen it from ever possible perspective and angle. Funny each time.

Just watched this again and laughed just as hard again. :-) “Dance Monkey, Dance!”

Just watched again. My memory of breakfast in England, every day for a month, no matter what town we were in: One fried egg with the yolk perfectly in the center, looking, by the end of the month, like a big, jaundiced eyeball, staring at you. A couple pieces of stewed tomato. Possibly some porridge, very plain. A piece of cold toast. If you were lucky, a bit of bacon or sausage. If you were very lucky the bacon or sausage would be hot. Generally, we were never lucky enough for any meat to be hot, so I didn’t eat it. Tea, and scathing looks of purest annoyance if you dared ask for coffee.

    Give me IHOP!
