Here’s my (first?) entry for this year’s Carp Caviar promotion. It’s a take off of the Nike Commercial (Wikipedia info) that used The Beatles song “Revolution.”
This video uses video from:
Valdezatron
Human-Dog
Bullemhead
The Common People
Travelin Bear
Completely Known
Ryanne Hodson
and
Putative Moment

um, did the beatles give you permission to use their song? i’m just wondering. because i think that’s copyrighted material.
Heh..that made me laugh. The combination of images with the music creates such a strange response…especially the mouth.
Of course I don’t have permission to use that song - I’m re-co-opting (I guess that’s what you could call it) the song back for the only product that deserves it - Carp Caviar!
It’s really weird how well Revolution fit that video……really weird..
That’s editing - that’s what I do. Though the cool thing about humans is that we love to make things mean something. So we naturally look for how the video and audio go together.
Wow! Rock and roll…So, was there a winner — in the traditional sense — for last year’s Carp Caviar promos? I’m not sure how Carp Cav works, but I enjoyed a bunch of the vids.
i love the hands stretching out the carp caviar logo at the end. sweet trick!
