I went to go visit my Dad today. It’s been 9 days since his open heart surgery. I tried to ask him how he’s doing and he start’s talking about wishbones. That’s my Dad for you. He cracks me up.

Hey Michael, Great job! Although I didn’t get the opportunity to view the video from work. Your dad is my hero in many ways, always positive and inspiration more than he can imagine. His going through this surgery is another miracle. I always believe when God brings you to it, He will get you throught it! Looking forward to spending more time reviewing your work.

wow. I remember when my dad had a quintuple bipass. He was only 40-something years old, I was only 10. I still don’t fully comprehend the magnitude of what could’ve happened.

With all the talk of winning and losing, we’re assuming that your dad has never had a wishbone “tie”. . . Nate’s family has had it before when a wishbone splits perfectly down the middle or else both handles break off and the middle drops to the floor.

I friend of mine just had open heart surgery, he had something like the actor John Ritter’s heart except they caught his condition ahead of time. He was on heart pressure medication, caught an infection, and had to go see his doctor. He said the operation was so painful he would have rather froze his thumb and smash it with a hammer.
