It’s really cool. Did you help her with the editing, though?
Since it was her first time with iMovie I helped her with the mechanics of it but I let her make all of the decisions. I told her to shorten her clips as much as she could by playing them a couple of times and then hitting stop where she wanted them to end. iMovie has a command to split a clip wherever the playhead is at so she did that to each clip. Then she dragged the new shorter clips to the timeline and put them in the order she wanted. It’s really pretty easy. Her goal is to do three more over Christmas vacation so she can learn the whole process and be able to just hand me a finished video to upload.

How did I get here . . . oh yeah, Your Mac Life . . . anyway, I’m emailing the link to Dylan’s vlog to my 13 year old niece who is also a Good Charlotte fan. Thing is, I don’t know if an 11 year old’s astute observation regarding girls who obsess about “Billy” will scare her or make her laugh (it made me laugh)!
