Cabaret of Flames

My friend Poid is big time into Burning Man and it’s virtual equivalent (sort of) Burning Life. This year she made an installation in Second Life based on her experience at this year’s Burning Man. I made this short video to help document/promote it all. You can read more about Cabaret of Flames over here.

Talkbot.tv

This is an idea that I’ve been playing with for literally years now. It’s a talk show hosted by my Second Life avatar, Aren Mandala. This episode features our friend Poid who I first met when I did the Scion City stuff about a year and half ago. I actually know a few really cool artists through Second Life so I’m going to try to feature as many as possible. Read More »

Bart Cheever

I’ve been working at Millions of Us for the better part of a year now and I love it because I get to work on all kinds of crazy projects with all kinds of creative people. What Is Scion City?

This is a tiny piece of a project that I’ve been working on for months now. It was a lot of fun to do and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. It a six-part machinima series based on Scion City. The website is done in flash (I built that too) and as the videos play, extra content becomes available. Part of the idea is that people can add on this story or create tangental stories so we kept all of our sets, props and avatars and put them in a backlot that is open to anyone via Second Life. You can check the whole thing out over here -> What Is Scion City? Read More »

Mad Skills

It’s been almost a month since I posted anything – as usual, I’ve just been working long hours. Recently I had to put together a “reel.” Normally, I’m not crazy about doing that kind of thing but I had fun with this one and got some help from my alter ego.

nscape.tv

I finally moved the robots to their new home new, new home. I still have a lot of work to do on the site but it’s up and it has a feed. Oh, and it has a new video too.
