Leveling Up

I don’t have much to say about this one – at least not yet. It’s been a rough couple of weeks over here.

Technical note: This was all shot on my iPhone. The music is by Moby – “Division” and “Shot In The Back Of The Head.”

Just got the new iPhone too so this video makes me motivated to go out and shoot something today. Love your car Verdi, is that a Cooper? Cool dashboard. Thanks for posting.

In all seriousness I have to say I’m sold on the Jay “Momentshowing” Dedman style of videoblogging.

Hey there, “Jerri’s Son”…This is very new to me—the whole technology out there. Even so, I do understand and know a very talented artist. that would be YOU. I am enjoying getting to know the family this way. and that is also new to me. I’m kinda a baby in the world of technology. Totally awesome work!!!

also, and i feel guilty for saying it, but bravo for using excellent copyrighted music. when it’s right, it’s right. you know what i mean.

Yeah copyright. Here’s my take. Fuck copyright. That’s the music I was listening to and it was important so it goes in the video.

nice slices of your moments. I love the momentshowing style too. especially with the little things like the gear changing in the car, or the cafe docket. and love the birds flying. they’re little time capsules in themselves. I’ve found when I look back on my own videos with these sorts of things it brings back great memories. I don’t worry about copyrighted music either. I figure if you’re doing beauty (even internale personal memory beauty) and (sound) beauty it’s only creating even more beauty and can enhance the music too so it’s almost a compliment to the artist. and as long as you’re not making money off them I don’t see the harm. I think of it as the visual mixtape of this age. I know the artist’s perspective of copyright and have lots of music artist friends, so I think as long as you’re respectful of it, it’s all good.
