New Kitteh!

Before the girls were born, Rebecca and I had 6 cats and a great dane. The last of those, a cat named Judah, died about a year ago. He was strange; liked to be outside and would scratch or bite you if you tried to pet him so he didn’t really seem like “a pet.” He was more like some wild animal who came around, demanded food and left. We’ve been talking about getting a new cat for the last 6 months or so and after a trip to the shelter with the Girl Scouts the other day I guess it was time to find us one. Here she is. We’re still working on a name – trying out Joon. We named her Mau Mau Kitty!

    So pretty :)

I like how she’s sizing things up.

lol….I had a cat like your last one once, only she would be friendly right before you feed her, then it was like “away from me knave, I will call you when needed”.. good luck with the new cat..

Awwwww so sweet :) that was very ‘calming to watch’…

Wish our house was that calm then we could also have a Kitteh!

She’s got such pretty eye make-up! Congrats on your new family member. She could be a sister cat to my Rosie (as seen in Driving Miss Rosie and Last Days with Rosie).

Something my wonderful brother left out is that he is allergic to cats. (sorry to “let the cat out of the bag”)

He is once again putting all his girls first. He is such a great father and husband. (no Michael, that is not sarcasim)

I think the allergies had more to do with the number of cats that we had than any real allergy. I’ve been “testing” cats like Battlecat and WhiteBaby for a while now. As long as I don’t pet them and then rub my eyes I’m pretty ok.
