Rebecca and the girls came out to San Francisco for a few days (they just went back this morning) and we took advantage of the great weather. This is a short video from Muir Woods that I thought Jay would enjoy.

I really like this because I really like slow-moving bugs and slugs and things. I take a lot of caterpillar footage in the summers when I let them crawl on my hands. Ought to post that…
great camera work! . . . those things REALLY creep me out . . . .
wow…I’ve never seen a slug that close. Very National Geographic!
I love it!
It may sound silly… but increasingly the videoblogs I love most are the short, simple, unedited pieces… My favorite vlog lately is blandlands.com.
Quite simply this is my kind of vlogging.
No intro, little to no editing. Just video straight off the camera. I’ve actually started posting a few videos to evilvlog via mmeiser.blip.tv.
It’s my type of vlogging, because it’s simple… like shooting good snapshot photos. 30 seconds, still shots, capture a time, place, activity. I may never be a videographer, but that I can do.
Thanks for posting!
Wonderful texture–and I love that quiet, crackly sound of Muir Woods!
I just watched a handful of your most recent videos…
Wow, some great stuff!
This one, a keeper…
slow moving objects take in every moment
I’m glad I’m not the only one with a respect and admiration for slugs. Nice job!
