Crazy Couple Of Days

Whew. Quick update. Dylan developed an appendicitis on Saturday. Rebecca took her to the doctor Saturday evening and she got her appendix taken out Sunday morning. Everything went great; hopefully she’ll be coming home in a couple of hours.

Saturday evening this screencast that I made ended up on the front page of Digg. It’s been downloaded over 31,000 since then. I’ve got some thoughts and comparisons that I want to blog about, but it will have to wait a little bit because…

I’m starting a full time job with Outhink (I’m still working on their website) to continue to develop SpinXpress. This is cool collaboration software for videobloggers. I’ve been using it with Freevlog and with Alive In Baghdad. Anyway, I’m moving out to San Francisco (I’m getting on a plane this afternoon). My family is staying put, at least for now. I’ll be back here in two weeks when my daughters are off for Christmas break.

Are you making the move for good? I hope not, you’ll be missed here in San Antonio.
The cost of living up there is outrageously high compared to Texas. Make sure it’s worth it for you and your family. Congratulations though, I’m sure there’s lots of people/companies who want you now.

I hope Dylan is better, I’m sure that was a big scare for you.
