Out In The Woods

When I got to San Francisco on Saturday the first thing I had to do was drive out to Chris Ritke’s house to pick up a key for the Outhink apartment where I was going to spend the night. He lives kind of out in the country. I’d never been there and wondered why he lives so far away; having to drive in to the city all the time. I got my answer pretty quickly.

Holy moley. I think I’d have a panic attack out there. Where is the next nearest house or town? Really beautiful.

Wow – finally got to see this – yup, that’s where we live. It’s great in Marin – what should I say… well, it gets a little dreary in the winter with all the rain – but otherwise it’s pretty close to paradise, I think.

It was sooooo nice that you stopped by – please come again!!!!

Oh – Steve: it’s San Geronimo – about 3 miles from Fairfax – still not quite civilization – that starts in San Anselmo as far as I’m concerned (hope nobody from Fairfax reads this!!!!)

First of all, I’m really glad to see you posting again, and it was very cool to visit with you at vloggies.

Second, this is like my dream home, to live in the woods, but also be within an hour of all the action in SF.

Of course, I’m guessing it costs about a skizzillion dollars … minor detail

That is great. I live in the Adirondacks but which is beautiful. But very rarely can you find a place tucked away in the woods like that were you can also get internet service. That is a cool place to live far enough yet close enough in relation to the city. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Great place! I’d hate to move to or from there, though, looking at that little pathway. I think all the furniture would have to have simply occurred there naturally.
