   Seagulls are everywhere!! We even have them all the way up here in ND. Not by such a beautiful environment though. More like, by a McDonnalds.

   I love the descriptions Lauren uses. It’s great to talk to kids that age.

   BTW, I think that seagull is an asshole. You are just wasting your breath talking to him.

   Ok, so it hit me like a ton of bricks when i watched this. It’s all about building context. if i shared this with another friend, they might only see this as a cute video by an odd man who talks to birds. Likewise, if they only saw last year’s video, they might say “vlogging is home movies”. But taken together, along with a wonderful year of friendships and great times, we have built, through sharing, a context around this that is so much more than “home movies”. Thanks for that lesson Michael.

    I’ve always wanted to go there… but it seems driving from Galveston ain’t that close.
