That is the best color ever. It IS a color that makes people happy! I remember going to go see “The World According to Garp” with my dad. I think I was twelve. And I remember that the movie opened with the screen filled with that very color and he turned to me and said “I like this movie already”.

I don’t much remember the movie, but I remember that color.

I like the idea behind this piece but, personally, I would have faded the blue to something else like a panorama or a city view, just to state that is real and not a blue painted wall or something else.

PS: this color is perfect I love blue

Wasn’t there a film called ‘The Blue’ or something which as just like 2 hours of a blue screen?

I wonder sometimes if the significance of this colour is somehow connected with the amount of red-green colour blindness found in the male population.

A friend of mine who has relatively severe red-green colour blindness (red kidney beans look pretty much black, for example). For him, this kind of blue is literally much brighter and more vibrant than any other colour.

Presumably many (if not most?) men have a small (undiagnosed) amount of this condition, which will cause reds and greens to seem relatively dull and lifeless, and equivalent blues to have more zing.

    Just a thought.

Extreme minimalism. Yeah. Thanks for the giggle and the blue.

I love that blue too. It always a nicer shade away from the city. I saw a lot of it in the French Pyrenees last month.

Yes! That’s the color. Any day with a sky like that is a good day.

Sadly, I remember the sky being a nice colour like that on 9/11.

Wow. We don’t get that here in MA very often. I love days like that!

COuldn’t agree more with you Michael, the clour blue of the sky is somehtign out of this world. Here in Los Angeles is very rare to see the sky liek that, with all the pollution we have…

(i love that steep hill photo!)

i slightly lighter shade of this blue, with red, is my favourite colour combination. i used sped-up sky with red titles for some of Blogumentary – absolutely nothing to do with blogs obviously, it’s just so damn pleasing.

You’re on that blue wavelength too!

Check out our “remix” (it’s kind of a remix–more or less using your voice and concept to do the same thing with some other blue images and music).

    Thanks for some inspiration!
