A couple of months ago my neighbor, Mary, bought a Mini Cooper. I’ve been dying to make a video about her and it ever since.

“follow the rules until they’re stupid” – that’s my new motto.

This video makes me miss the south. We don’t have anyone that friendly here in Worcester, MA.

Mary is pretty cool. I’m sorry I didn’t get to know her when I was there. Maybe next year. The car looks like fun too. Glad you got a chance to drive it. Thanks, Mary.

If I were to buy a new car, I’d totally get one of those purely based on this video.

    Thanks Mary for sharing! -Bre

You know, I never really realized how cool a mini could be. I’ll be honest, I never liked the car before. But now it seems pretty badass!

Nice video, Michael. I particularly like the trading places. I would like to have seen more of the car, but otherwise a fun ride. Mary is very cool!

this whole vlog entry was one huge commercial for Mini Coopers, and it was the kind of “brand hijacking” that all the PR folks are raving about. Yeah! Let the customers and their neighbours be the media, be the advertising agency! :P

I particularly liked seeing the housed you have in the neighbourhood there. Hello Mary!

Yeah it is like a commercial though it wasn’t intended as such. Then again almost anytime we do something it’s like a commercial in some way. I want to get an Xacti like yours because you, Markus and Jay all love them.

I want to get a mini, but unfortunately I don’t think I would be able to fit in one. Looks like you had fun driving it!

why do you have to be so materialistic all the time?
    it’s really a bad habit.

These cars are very cool. My friend actually has a real antique mini from england, which makes the mini coopers look huge. His wheels look like riding lawn mower wheels.

I loved the whole riaa thing. Only us vloggers worry about stuff like that. If only we didn’t have to eh? And in a perfect world I would be able to vlog all day long.

If you love something, it’s OK to let friends know about it. As Plato/Socrates described many years ago, the ladder of love can start simply loving, oh Mini-Coopers, and evolve to the love of humanity and even God, too! So, friends, it’s alright to love a fantastic car.

Michael…Looked at the v-blog one more time for fun. But as you’ve notice I traded in the Mini (too many electrical problems, too much $$ for repairs), but THOROUGHLY loved driving it. Thanks for letting go back and look at it. Keep up the good work.
