Great entry – seeing some of those things that are taken for granted other places. Like – the mountains around Bergen; I couldn’t care less. But still every year hundreds of thousands of tourists come here to visit those fjords, and the mountains and the lala. I would love to be there on that rollercoaster. Well, let’s just explore the area we Do have around us, and then slowly but surely expand our connections with the world through vloggers. Vloggers being our eyes, our entry point to Texas, or Amsterdam, or Rome.

Looks like seattle. And I DID drive a stick shift. Even after doing it for 6 months I was never quite sure I was going to get started again on the way up….. But then, you really don’t want to ride a bike on that either.

I’ve never been to that part of San Francisco. Looks so awesome though. Heh, I can’t imagine how Lombard Street is.

Your ride down what looks like Divisidero St. was fun. I grew up around the corner from Filbert, which is the steepest hill in the city (steeper than this one), just 2 blocks from Lombard (which is pretty tame compared to the straight down shot). When I grew up, there was no diagonal parking and no automatic transmission, so I had to learn to be able not only to drive up those hills (and note that there is a stop sign at the top of most of them!), but parallel park on a hill like that too! I’ve lost the talent now, but in my day I was pretty good at it!
